The Gardens
Llama Trekking in France, Llama Training Courses in France & Smallholding Courses in France
St Bonnet, 03210 Noyant d'Allier, Allier, France
When we purchased St Bonnet, the gardens were totally devoid of plants with the exception of 3 old rose bushes and as
we love gardening we set about introducing a range of different plants and shrubs so that the garden would be a feast of
colours for most of the year. After a lot of planning and planting, we now have gardens in which people can walk
around and enjoy the colours and scents of the different plants and shrubs, or they can sit back and relax whilst they
watch the buzzards and kites soaring overhead or the masses of little birds that settle in the trees. We even have our own
pair of doves that live in a large pine tree at the edge of our garden and come and collect fallen seeds from the garden. In
the morning and late evening at sunset, the whole garden comes alive with the sound of bird song.
The garden area to the west of the property was originally part of a field but this has been turned into a lovely shaded
seating area which is a perfect place to while away the time in the evening watching the llamas in the lower fields.
The back garden was totally destroyed when we had a new septic tank installed but after a lot of work this has now been
laid to lawn and a range of young trees have been planted. The rear garden is an excellent place for idling away the time
watching the llamas in the upper field.
